JABATE will be an interactive event showcasing business and technology in two action packed days allowing participants to learn about technology in a user friendly environment and executives will increase their knowledge of a wide range of technology solutions for corporate communications, system infrastructure, product usability and other critical business activities.

The Expo will focus on technology, new computer-savvy systems for all sectors, while creating an awareness of the latest in technology. It will be a low cost, two day experience for all to:

Who Should Exhibit: In addition to small and emerging firms; companies, government organizations and schools with services and products to help these small firms commercialize technology and grow will all profit from this event. If you are involved in the high-tech development or commercialization process, you owe it to your organization to exhibit at this event.

Who will attend: Qualified Buyers... Extensive pre-show promotion for the JABATE will target small business owners and managers, and service providers in Central Jamaica.

Internet Connection: Please ask for details by March 31.

Tickets/Passes: Each exhibitor will receive a minimum of 30 general Expo passes, feel free to download and distribute to as many companies and individuals as you can. You may also have custom tickets made for your company to distribute.

Door Prizes: We welcome giveaways from all exhibitors wishing to do so with just a few guidelines. This is a good opportunity for a little added promotion at the show. Limit four giveaway per day. The Expo guide that will be handed out at the front door will include a list of all companies and their prizes. We will do an overhead announcement when it is time and the giveaways may also be taped and shown (slightly tape-delayed) on the overhead screens. Product Demonstrations and Press Conferences: A special area will be reserved for you to showcase your technical expertise while promoting your company's products. Time slots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. For reservation, please call Wendy Freckleton at (876) 961-4142. An area will also be reserved for you to post announcements and distribute press releases and marketing kits.

Set up day: Thursday, April 23 anytime between 2:pm. & 10:00 p.m. Check in at the desk at the entrance of Auditorium 1 for exhibitor badges, etc. Loading and unloading only on the left side facing Auditorium 1. During expo, please park in the main lots.

Take down: Anytime after 5:00 p.m. (to 8:00 p.m.) on Saturday. No early take downs please.
